Carol
D. Saal
Carol Saal has been an active volunteer for many years in both the Jewish
and general communities. She has served on many non-profit boards in
various capacities, including:
Founding board member and active advocate of the Center for Clinical
Immunology at the Stanford Medical Center.
Active fundraiser for the Arthritis Foundation, Northern California Region
Campaign Chair of the San Francisco Jewish Community Federation’s
Annual Campaign from 1997-1999.
Member of the Board of Governors, Ben Gurion University of the Negev
in Israel
Currently heads a $122 million dollar capital campaign to build a Campus
for Jewish Life in Palo Alto, Calif., including a new Jewish Community
Center and a Senior Housing Facility.
Senior mentor for the Henry Crown Fellowship Program at the Aspen Institute,
a national young leadership program.
On the business side, Saal, together with her husband, helped found Network
General Corporation and headed marketing communications for the company.
